Eco To Go
Here at Eco-to-go.com we are focused on having fun outdoors.
Our main goal is to facilitate activities where kids along with their families have planned events to go to,
thus the name Eco-to-go. While activities are our main goal we are also online retailers of camping,
hiking, biking, boating, and hunting and fishing equipment. Basically if it involves the outdoors we
are focused on it. Please check our Events section out for upcoming fun
activities for the entire family. We also work closely with local BSA troups in assisting in any way
possible.

Mohawk Hardwoods are produced in both solid and engineered planks. They come in a wide variety of wood
species. The location and type of subflooring in your home are
factors that must be considered when choosing the flooring solution
best suited for your individual needs. With so many Mohawk styles and finishes to choose from, there is
guaranteed to be a solution for your flooring needs.
Mohawk Solid Wood
Floors
Mohawk Solid Wood Floors offer a selection from the finest woods, such as Red and White Oak, American Cherry,
Hickory, Maple, and Brazilian Cherry. Solid wood floors are
typically solid pieces of wood in varying widths, which are about ¾” thick. When installing solid hardwood
floors, planks are nailed or stapled onto above-level, approved wooden subfloors. Then the flooring is sanded and recoated or refinished several times to give
it a durable finish. Solid wood floors are more susceptible to humidity and temperature changes and are not
appropriate for basements unlike vinyl flooring. This type of flooring takes several days to install and
finish. Having a solid finish over the surface of the floor allows
for strength and durability, and there are no cracks or crevices to collect crumbs.

Mohawk Exotic Wood Species are solid hardwood planks of the finest exotic hardwoods, which
offer a distinctly different appearance from typical Northern American hardwoods, but maintain the same
strength and durability. Some species are photosensitive and may change color over time. The levels of
photosensitivity can be found on sample panels.
Mohawk Engineered
Wood Floors
Mohawk Engineered Wood Floors are manufactured by laminating several hardwood plies together to form planks or
long strips. These floors can be glued, stapled, or floated over a variety of subfloors, including wood, dry
concrete slabs, and certain types of existing floors. Installation
can take place in a single day. Since an existing floor does not have to be removed with engineered flooring,
mess and the additional cost of tearing out an existing floor can be avoided. With engineered flooring, humidity
and temperature changes are not a factor. Because the planks will
not expand and contract due to temperature and humidity variations, engineered flooring is ideal for
basements. It is also ideal for concrete slabs. Since it comes with
a factory-applied finish, such as Mohawk’s exclusive Scotchguard or CrystalShield finish with aluminum oxide, it
is more durable than a job-site finish. If a plank becomes damaged,
it can easily be replaced.
